This class will cover available broadband technologies including cable access, DSL, and cellular phone access like EV-DO and and EDGE, and help you decide which technology is best for you based on availability, speed, and price. 1 session, 3 hours per session. Digital Photography Techniques In this class, students can learn how to unload pictures from their digital cameras, and effective ways to organize, store, print, and share photographs on-line and as e-mail attachments. We will also learn how to create photo CDs and DVDs that will play in a standard DVD player. 2 sessions, 3 hours per session. Instructor Bob Weiss. Finding Bargains and Selling for Fun and Profit With On-line Auctions Find bargains or sell your own items on eBay and other on-line auctions. Internet auctions are pretty easy once you know what’s involved. Learn the equipment you need, how to determine if there is demand for your item, how to price it, and how to avoid beginner’s mistakes when collecting payment and arranging shipping. You’ll learn to add a photo to your well-written description to get higher bids. This information-packed class includes a demonstration of how to put together an online ad from start to finish.
